DOSEL’s Southern Teak Flooring is made from carefully selected logs extracted from Licensed Forest Management projects in northern Bolivia and processed observing strict chain of custody controls that guarantee the sustainability and preservation of the specie and the longevity of product availability. Southern Teak, commonly called Brazilian Teak or South American Chestnut, is a tough and dense wood imported from several producing areas around the Amazon River basin. Our Southern Teak T&G Flooring comes in 3”, 3 ¼”, 4”and 5” faces, unfinished or pre-finished with top grade Woca Oil. The wood has a tropical cathedral grain, somewhat interlocked and wavy, with a course classic texture that enhances its exotic brilliance.
