A commitment to proper selection. Rigorously selecting only licensed, mature timber for extraction through the application and observance of directional felling techniques that preserve the surrounding forest and its delicate ecosystem. DOSEL’s program follows the strict guidance of comprehensive applications and sustainable production methodologies that have been proven to actually preserve the integrity of the forestlands where it is harvested in northern Bolivia while assuring the survival of the species and the longevity of products availability.
Ethical Sourcing
After the careful selection and processing of the raw material into dimension lumber, DOSEL raw wood products are transported to Bosque Sur in La Paz for kiln drying, manufacturing and grading to produce the only highest quality finished wood products available anywhere.
DOSELs flagship products include Exotic Wood Slabs, Solid Hardwood Flooring and Decking, Interior Grade Slotted Wall Dressings and Exterior Grade Cladding and Soffit. Our products are specially tailored to endure time.
Our interior products are kiln dried to a perfect moisture equilibrium of 6-8%.
Our exterior grade products are kiln dried and heat treated to a maximum of 18%, also the perfect equilibrium to avoid over swelling or shrinkage that can affect the products look or installation lines as it contracts and expands from the effects of relative humidity.
