DOSEL’s South American Walnut Flooring is made from carefully selected logs extracted from Licensed Forest Management projects in northern Bolivia and processed observing a rigid methodology of chain of custody controls that guarantees the sustainability and preservation of the specie and the longevity of the product’s availability.
Ipe, commonly called Brazilian Walnut, Tajibo or Lapacho, is a very heavy and resistant wood that properly treated can last forever. Our flooring is manufactured and imported from Bolivia where our affiliate Bosque Sur SRL has production facilities. Our South American Walnut T&G Flooring comes in 3¼ ”, 3½”, 4”and 5” faces, unfinished or pre-finished with top grade WOCA Oil for a long lasting lustrous finish. The wood has a fine, compact straight to cathedral grain, somewhat interlocked with a smooth classic texture that enhances its exotic brilliance.
